BID PROCUREMENT LTL OR PARTIAL PROGRAMS
C2C Logistics has negotiated Generic rates with LTL carriers. This allows moving any freight at anytime with them under these set rates. However there comes a time when
the rates required to secure the business for a customer need to be even more competitive or more customized to suit the product being shipped. For this we have a procedure in place that will allow us to put this out for bid to our contracted carriers to secure more competitive rates. However in order to achieve this certain steps and information is required to "bid" or RFP
This is as follows:
A shipper profile - Required.
A letter of Authority from the shipper. – Required.
PLEASE SEE SAMPLE LETTER BELOW
Minimum annual transportation revenue of $150,000 per year - Required
Shipment data - if available.
Competitive information - if available.
What the pricing needs to be to secure the business - Required
Once we have the information we can send It out for bid to our carriers. The process takes about 2 weeks
